Hello Everyone...
Yes...I'm still alive and kicking here. I've had a number of health issues over the past few weeks (now bordering on months!) and I must once again apologize for not being active on the board with you.
The reason however, that I'm writing you this note here (and if you're on the yahoo mailing list you'll get another email that is similar) is to let you know that geocities has closed its doors for good and that means that the Gladys Taber website is out of house and home yet again. Sigh.
At this writing, I do not yet have a webhost home for the site...but I will do my best to get it up and running again by Christmastime.
I wish I had better news. I am, at this point, frustrated with all of these companies.
Hopefully, there will be better news to report soon!!

I'm glad you mentioned this. After too long a time not checking in here, I thought I'd check to see what was happening. Yesterday, I got in the site and after getting to the discussion page, I paged back and got the end-of-geocities-page and could not get back in. I had no idea what was going on! I googled may way back here (thank goodness you all were still here!). Now I will make a note to do better in keeping up with this site; summers are so busy. With the colder weather coming, I have more time for the finer things of life.....like keeping up with Gladys' friends.
Surely there must be a nice place for our website. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Shelley, Sorry to hear the disturbing news about your health and also to hear that we're losing our website again. You put so much time, effort and energy into building it up for us. Take care of your health first... that's more important. Bonnie

Hi Shelley et al. So sorry to hear of the loss of the Stillmeadow site. It was such a beautiful spot to visit, Wish you the best at getting a new home for
the site.
Now, I've been scratching my head about how to get to the Yahoo site. Can someone direct me there? I do not want to be a part of Facebook because I just don't have the time for that in my life right now. If I have join Facebook,then I can't do the Yahoo. I'll just stay as an occasional guest to this site when I can participate. Happy Thanksgiving to all you who love Gladys Taber.

Search for Yahoo groups, and then Gladys Taber...there are two Yahoo groups...FriendsofGladys@yahoo.com and Gladysfriends@yahoo.com.
